Cozy and Stylish with a Brioche Stitch Neck Warmer

This brioche stitch neck warmer is an easy-level project to keep you cozy.

Wish you a lot of fun knitting up the perfect neck watmer!


MATERIALS

  • 4 balls Cardiff Cashmere Large 603 Muji

  • Any worsted weight yarn can work for this pattern.

  • US 8 (5.5 mm), HiyaHiya 24-inch circular needle to knit back and forth.


GAUGE

16 stitches and 18 rows = 4 inches in fishman sts without strecth


SIZE 

Finished Dimensions: 35cm/14 inches wide x 45cm/18 inches long

This size works for both  children and adults. Since the pattern is very strechy , please cast on less sts if you plan to make this for smaller kids. 




NOTE

sl1wyib : slip 1 stitch purl wise with yarn in back

k1b: knit 1 below


PATTERN


CAST ON

Use Germany twisted cast on to cast on a 56 stitches. 

[Any even number can work for this pattern] 


Set-Up Row : sl1wyib, k1, p1, repeat from to last 1 stitch,  p1 . 


Row 1 : sl1wyib, k1b, p1, repeat from to last 1 stitch,  p1 (see Note) .


Rep row 1 until it reaches 45cm/18inches from cast on edge. 


Bind off in pattern , break off yarn and leave a long 40cm/ 16inces tail. 


FINISHING

Gently wet block to finished dimensions. 


This stitch is very stretch. So do not over stretch when wet blocking. Otherwise it becomes too long. 


Lay it flat and sewthe sides together as shown in the video . Weave in all ends.
